Artistic Statement
"Painting is a balance between design and unpredictability - where structure meets the freedom of organic shapes.
My interest has been drawn mostly to the human figure. My literature research background has strongly influenced my story-telling themes, often referencing elements of western culture and myths, where women are central characters.
Along with the narrative thread, I draw my attention on geometric abstraction and synthesis, as I focus my creative process on design and color mixing, but also enjoy the unpredictable results of unplanned and spontaneous production of organic shapes. "

This painting is a beauty. I looked at it for a long time - and it was worth the wait. Soft subtle colors and brush strokes. It is perfect for my Santa Barbara office. |

Lovely painting, exactly as I expected. The colors are vibrant with visible brush strokes and texture. I’m having a special double frame made to highlight the colors and then will hang on my wall. Looking at other works by this artist. |

This art is gorgeous in person. It’s a stunning original piece and has wonderful brushstrokes that bring the art to life. I took it to be framed the moment I received the art in the mail because I just couldn’t wait to hang it up. Thank you! |

I believe this was painted in Napa, but it reminds us of our favorite wine country, the Santa Ynez Valley. Beautiful, peaceful painting - complements a 100 year old painting in the same room. Great Seller too! |
